Nutrition Services, Inc. provides Registered Dietitian support for Renal Dialysis. As with all of our customers we become an invaluable part of the care team. Some of our responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Coordinate monthly lab report cards for all the hemodialysis patients
*Meet with the dialysis team for monthly care plans
*Make routine rounds to the patients to ensure supplement and/or education needs are being met
Educating Dialysis patients is a major role in our responsibilities at Renal Dialysis Centers. We have used several creative ideas to help patients educate themselves on their dietary needs. Some of these ideas include:
*Prepare education bulletin to demonstrate dialysis nutrition related topics
*Provide education materials and /or counseling to staff, patients and family
*Coordinate the recipes to meet the specific therapeutic requirements of the patients’ treatment
Nutrition Services Inc takes pride in becoming part of a team. Some of our functions are in support of Regional Dietitians and staff support staff.
*Coordinate special projects such as community in-services and health fairs
*Menu planning for special occasions such as holiday cookouts.
